The Swiss Duoclast uses a combination of radial and focused shock waves for various therapies and treatment of various indications of musculoskeletal system. The device in a modular manner skillfully combines a low- and high-energy focused extracorporeal shock wave device (Swiss PiezoClast unit) with low- and high-energy radial extracorporeal shockwave device (Swiss DolorClast Classic unit). The swiss PiezoClast unit launched in September 2009, utilizes the piezoelectric principle for generation of focused shock waves for the treatment of musculoskeletal system indications.
